Our holistic leadership approach is built around self-leadership, a deep understanding of the humanitarian field, and guidance for leading others. The learning process is balanced and diverse. This unique experience is led by teachers and humanitarian practitioners, from a breadth of humanitarian fields, with a lifelong commitment to humanitarian values.
The Humanitarian Leadership Program is delivered online. The overall duration of the program is twelve months, with the possibility of extending up to six months. We adjust the learning process to the technical capacity of students who may have access to only basic internet connection. The Program opens three times a year: in January, in May, and in September.
The Humanitarian Leadership Program is open for humanitarian practitioners with a minimum of two years’ experience in intervention management. It is obligatory for students that apply to meet minimum criteria:
- Two years of experience in people and humanitarian management.
- Four years of work experience in national, regional or international humanitarian or developmental organizations.
- Familiarity with the Sphere Project.
The scholarship is granted in three categories:
- Women in Humanitarian Action that come from Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Japan.
- Young humanitarians under 26 years old.
- Humanitarians employed by a national humanitarian organization.
Scholarships granted will assume the cost of fifty percent of the Holistic Leadership Program fee.
The fee for the program is 2690 Euros, and payment can be made in one or two installments.
